Celebrating team wins & looking ahead
Co-created a year-in-review experience to celebrate our collective achievements and to highlight each person, fostering a sense of belonging and building up our team culture.

Overview
A year in review, built around the people
Each year, our team has a year-end hangout that is dedicated to celebrating what we did and building an understanding of where we want to go in the coming year.
For our 2025 one, my leader and I decided to go with the theme Wicked, as the movie was something our team (and org) had discussed many times. Seriously, people were obsessed with it.
We also wanted a way to show off how much our team is appreciated by our partners. So, we took inspiration from Spotify's Wrapped feature and reached out to partners in product management and engineering. We had them create a special video, building on the Wrapped idea of number 1 fans getting videos from their favorite artists.
Our cross-functional team members were not only willing to make the videos, but were excited about being part of the project.
Impact
- Our team absolutely loved the presentation. They had fun learning their “Audio Aura” and were happily surprised to see the videos made by our cross-functional partners.
- One of our designers kept saying how much he loves the team and how this is the best team he's ever worked with. That made me feel really proud because that's what I hoped this presentation would do.
- I know that often companies get so focused on delivering value and hitting the next deadline that they forget to stop and thank the team that gets it all done.
- I wanted this presentation to make our team feel like they weren't just resources, but humans that deserve to be celebrated for all that they do and who they are as people.
